A Clovis Fan's Guide To Big Dawg Fight Nights

Clovis sends more fans per capita to our cards than anywhere else in the Valley. It is close, it has its own gym culture, and it has produced fighters who have headlined for us.

Getting there

Old Town to downtown Fresno is about twenty minutes without traffic and thirty-five on an event night. Herndon to the 41 is the obvious route and it is also the one everybody takes. Shaw to First and down through the middle of town is slower on paper and often faster in practice.

Make an evening of Old Town first

Eat in Old Town, then drive in. It is a better meal than anything within two blocks of the arena and the parking is free while you do it.

Clovis fighters on our cards

We have had Clovis-trained fighters on nine of our last twelve cards. If you want to watch somebody from your zip code, check the undercard listings rather than just the main event. That is where local debuts happen.

Training closer to home

If the drive to a Fresno gym is what has stopped you from training, several of our program partners run sessions on the Clovis side. Fundamentals classes do not require any experience and they do not require you to ever step in a ring.

Tickets

Clovis fans tend to buy late, and our floor seats tend to sell early. If you want to be close, buy the week the card is announced rather than the week of the fight.
